Positive Reviews
positive:
Just like home.
Guests didn't want to leave the comfortable environment of their fully equipped apartments. There was plenty of space, including two large sofas in each unit, and a good size flat screen TV for kicking back and relaxing. Everything was found to be sparkling clean, and perhaps best of all, shops and restaurants were just down the street.
positive:
Extras.
Guests said that everything had been thought of for a comfortable stay. Nothing was overlooked, and amongst the list of things that guests appreciated were the complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee, and the little things that really made apartments feel like home, such as an iron and ironing board, plus a hair dryer.
positive:
A friendly welcome.
Guests were greeted by personable staff who were there to answer questions thoroughly, including how to work appliances and information about the area. Hogg & Mitchell Apartments promise a memorable experience, and most guests can attest that this is true.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Intermittent office hours.
While staff are available during regular office hours to greet guests and handle concerns, they aren't on-site during weekends and after hours. If you plan on arriving early or late, you will need to make prior arrangements, which didn't sit well with some guests.
negative:
Disappointing Wi-Fi.
Wi-Fi strength varied in each unit, but the consensus amongst guests seemed to be that Internet capabilities needed to be improved.
negative:
Unreliable lift.
A small number of guests were inconvenienced by a broken lift. If taking the stairs isn't your cup of tea, this is something to keep in mind.
