Situated bordering one of Sri Lanka’s major national park Udawalawe. The camp allows guests to truly experience a world-class safari adventure in style and comfort. The Big Game campsite Udawalawe is located in a sizable clearing, set up utilizing the space available. Although the Udawalawe National Park spans Sri Lanka’s wet and dry zones, the campsite is in the dry zone, and the flora and fauna are specific to the area. It is set among a flat and spacious bush forest overlooking a man-made reservoir on the eastern boundary which is visited by many species of birds and animals. Some notable animals are elephants, sambar deer, jackal, and toque macaque. Due to the location of the site elephants may be visible from within the campsite. The guests are serviced by experienced and professional wildlife guides and staff who cater to all the guests’ needs. The camp itself has comfortably furnished fully-seal-able tents with attached partitioned toilets. Amenities provided include raised beds, bed linen, towels, a flashlight, a shoe rack, foldable chairs and a coffee table to ensure guests’ comfort. There is enough space in the campsite for children and the entire family.
