The Boat and Anchor is a traditional English country inn with a restaurant. There are 18 en suite letting rooms. All on line reservations are on a room only basis. Breakfast can be added on check in. The accommodation is homely and traditional in keeping with the building which used to be a row of canal side cottages. We are set on the banks of the Bridgwater and Taunton canal just half a mile from junction 24 of the M5. This makes us ideal for those who want easy access to the motorway for an overnight stop or we are ideally placed for anyone wishing to explore the beautiful Somerset levels. We are close to Taunton, Minehead, Watchet, Glastonbury, Weston super Mare and Bristol. It is a quiet environment overlooking fields and the canal to the front with the large car park to the rear. There is free wifi throughout the building, private free parking and cctv. Please note we do not have a 24 hour reception. Latest check in is 10pm. If you expect to be late please phone ahead.
