    About Rifugio Baita Gimont

    Our hut is located at 2035 m and 4 km from Claviere (To) on the ski slopes of the Via Lattea ski area (Ita-Fra). In winter you arrive by skiing or by snowmobile (own transport); in summer by car, bicycle, off-road motorbike or on foot. The Baita Gimont has 6 double rooms with private bathroom, furnished in mountain style, a restaurant and a bar, as well as an outdoor dehor with a view of the Monti della Luna and Monte Chaberton. It is an excellent starting point for hiking, trekking, ski mountaineering or snowshoeing in the forest. Reservations for the restaurant are appreciated. We organise dinners at altitude every evening with snowmobile transport during the winter period.
