The hotel gets great reviews on the quality and variety of food served at the buffet restaurant, with guests reporting there is something to suit everyone's taste.

Guests love the location of the hotel. Not only is the beach, marina and plaza just a short walk away but the hotel is also close to a bus stop from where guests can travel to nearby hotspots such as Fuengirola and Marbella.

Guests have reported that although the rooms are clean, some felt that they could do with updating. Guests have also mentioned that each room only has one plug socket, which can make it a little difficult for guests which multiple appliances.

Guests have felt that due to the central location of the hotel, some nights there was a substantial level of noise being heard from the marina. Although this noise tended to give way before midnight, guests with younger children may wish to request a room at the other side of the hotel where possible.

Guests who have stayed at the Palmasol feel that the pool area can be overcrowded, with some reporting that there aren't enough sunbeds to go around. This is only an issue at high season, with many other hotels facing the same problem.
