Negative Reviews
negative:
Strange smells
Although most guests were happy with their stay, a few guests did report that they detected slightly unpleasant smells in the hotel, particularly in their rooms, which they said smelled musty or strange.
negative:
Corners cut on the furnishings
Some guests said they thought the furniture and bedding at the hotel could do with being replaced, and were older and worn or somewhat cheap and below the standard they would expect.
negative:
Noise can be a problem
Noises from construction outside, and also noise from fellow guests, have kept a small number of guests awake at night. Some guests felt this was because the doors didn't fit the frames well enough and let noise through, while others had problems with the air conditioning which they said was too loud.
