Positive Reviews
positive:
Budget-friendly, flexible catering accommodation.
For a Lanzarote break on a budget, you'd be hard-pressed to find a hotel for less. Plus, with kitchenettes in the apartments and a restaurant onsite, your catering arrangements can be flexible and easy.
positive:
Good location close to the seafront.
Guests generally rate the location of Terrazas del Puerto, which is located on a hillside above the harbour. As well as being a quick stroll down to the seafront, all of Puerto del Carmen's amenities are within walking distance.
positive:
Pleasant outdoor pool area with bar.
With whitewashed buildings surrounding the pale blue waters, brilliant under a Mediterranean sun, the hotel's pool area is its most attractive spot, and guests enjoy relaxing here. The snack bar is open all day, until late evening.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Apartments can be dirty and uncared-for.
While guests expect these apartments to be fairly basic, given the price, it's the lack of cleanliness and broken fixtures and fittings which offend them. From broken toasters to shower heads that fall off, some apartments are in a sorry state.
negative:
Some problems with bugs in the rooms.
You might be able to cope with the odd broken appliance, but ants and cockroaches are far less acceptable. Numerous guests have complained that the ground-floor rooms are bug-prone zones.
negative:
You need to be reasonably fit to get around.
While it's not a long walk down to the harbour, it does involve a lot of steps, and it's a tough climb back, so if you have mobility problems, you might find it hard to get around easily staying here.
