This peaceful retreat is situated amongst 15 acres of gardens and woodlands. The main building dates back to 1847, with newer additions including their self-catering lodges and relaxing outdoor pool. Guests can choose between staying in a standard hotel room, a self-catering lodge, or a holiday villa. All of these options have free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV with Freeview, and telephone. In addition to their pool and gardens, guests can enjoy tennis, squash, and badminton courts, full size snooker table, pool room, games room, and darts. The hotel offers two dining options, their casual, family friendly option The Conservatory Brasserie where children can play outside while the adult guests dine, and The Cellar Bistro, their more upscale option. The hotel is situated in an excellent spot for taking in the North Cornish coast and its many attractions including Eden Project, Tintagel Castle, and Port Isaac.
