About Hotel 'T Bagientje
Hotel 'T Bagientje
offers an authentic and rich taste of Flanders. This well-renowned
traditional restaurant and bar with rooms is located a short walk
from Bruges' railway station.
The six quaint bedrooms, a mixture of singles and doubles with one spacious family room, have hardwood floors. Most have en-suite bathrooms, however, two of the rooms share one common bathroom. Each has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.
Free parking is plentiful at the Hotel 'T Bagientje and there is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.
A continental breakfast is served Tuesdays to Sundays in the restaurant. Guests can return for lunch or dinner to devour typical Flemish dishes, washed down with speciality Belgian beers.
The main sights of the “Venice of the North”, such as the Belfry and Markt square, are a pleasant ten minute stroll away. Guests can also embark on a romantic wander around Minnewater - “the Lake of Love”.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bathroom privacy
If you appreciate intimacy, the thought of a shared bathroom may be off-putting. Guests, who are not fortunate to have a private bathroom are disappointed to have to share with another room. If you do get an en-suite room, don't celebrate prematurely that you will get the privacy you seek either. Guests will warn you that you may not have a door separating the bathroom from the bedroom!

Stairway struggles
The winding staircases may add plenty of charm to the place. However, they will also see how much character you have yourself. Guests find lugging their bags up two flights of stairs tests how much a quaint property is important to them after all!

Strange stench
Guests often detect a strange odour in their rooms. This seems familiar to the whole town of Bruges, however, some believe it comes from the kitchen.
