The classical style hotel Mariona is situated in downtown Pythagorion, a few steps from the south exit of the central parking, 30 metres from the main street and 100 metres from the harbour and the swimming beach of Tarsanas Tavern. There are 17 rooms with bath and balcony or terrace. In the rooms there are TV, air-conditioning, safety box, hair dryer. The rooms have either 2 single beds or one double. In some rooms we can add a third bed or one baby cot. On the first floor, there is an area and continuing terrace for the reception, bar and breakfast. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the linen changed twice a week. From Mariona hotel is very easy to visit the Tarsanas Tavern Beach for swimming and nice lunch or dinner. Pythagorion is on the place of Ancient Samos,one of the most Ionian Center in the 5th century B.C. It was famous as a town country in the period of Tyrant Polycrates, of Philosopher Pythagoras and Archeologist Aristarchos. From Mariona it is easy to visit Eypalinos tunnel, Monastry of Panagia Spiliani, the Lykourgos castle.With taxi or bus, the museum of Natural History of Aegean with the famous Paleontological part. The airport is 3 km, the Samos hospital 13 km.
