Cute little beachside motel
Right on the water, the motel is perfectly situated for activities in and around the Treasure Island beach. It's also close to several additional beaches, watersports like parasailing and fishing, and natural wonders to explore.
positive:
Newly renovated and priced right
The motel was recently renovated and provides you with fresh décor, modern amenities, and clean quarters for a very reasonable rate—especially for its proximity to the beach. They also are a pet friendly motel with a tiny enclosed dog park outside.
positive:
Fish dock and wildlife in reach
One of the perks to the Lorelei Resort Motel is its access to the ocean. There's even a fishing dock on the back side of the motel. And, in this peaceful location, you can enjoy the sounds of nature. One guest even mentioned seeing manatees near the dock area.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A handful of issues
Between mismatched hot and cold faucets, superheated water (or no cold water), cramped rooms, old furniture, a few missing door thresholds, and poor Wi-Fi signal strength, some guests had some concerns with the motel. However, with low rates and a waterfront location, these issues may not matter as much.
negative:
Kitchenette may not meet your needs
Although the motel does offer refurbished lodgings with mini kitchens, some guests noted that the facilities didn't satisfy their requirements. They felt the refrigerators were too small, the stoves weren't effective enough, and there wasn't enough cookware and silverware to go around.
negative:
Needs more powerful AC
One common thread among prior visitors to the Lorelei Resort Motel was that the air conditioning units weren't as powerful as required to combat the at times swampy Florida air. If you're looking to stay at the motel, you may wish to book during the cooler times of year.
