The food is absolutely delicious, with all the trimmings, and the wines are the best value for money.
positive:
Five star value
When you visit this hotel, you will be forgiven for mistaking it for a five star hotel, according to many travellers. Many business travellers are so confident with the service they receive, including high speed Internet, that they schedule as many functions here as possible.
positive:
Lovely revamp
Those visitors who have been to this hotel before have commented on the uplifting, fresh new look that the hotel has undergone. Fixtures and fittings have either been replaced, or maintained to a better state. Linen is fresh, white and clean, and rooms are well-appointed.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Noisy downstairs
If you want an early night at the Falcon Hotel, you should request a room as far away from the bar/lounge as possible. Although the vibe is great, and the music is good, some guests would prefer to be asleep.
negative:
Thin walls and noisy neighbours
If you get in early you should try to book a room at the end of the passage, as there have been a few complaints about the lack of soundproofing. The walls are a little thin and if you have noisy neighbours, you could end up awake all night and listening to their conversations.
negative:
Some rooms still old school
Guests are pleased that most of the rooms have been renovated, however there are still a few rooms that need attention. Guests have reported one with an old-style bathroom, and an old couch.
