Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent Beach Access
Although this property sits further back from the water than some others in the area, guests still praised the quick access to the beach they enjoyed. There's also a boardwalk that gets lit up at night for better visibility. Plan to stay here if you want to relax at the beach with fewer crowds.
positive:
The Employees Know the Area Thoroughly
Guests were repeatedly impressed by the knowledge level displayed by the hotel's employees. They were often able to get very clear directions to points of interest, and recommendations that were very trustworthy. As a result, even guests who were in the area on their first visits felt well equipped.
positive:
Large and Inviting Rooms
There were numerous good comments about the generous size of the rooms and how clean they were. Guests appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and loved how some rooms had balconies and ocean views.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some Guests Felt the Rates Were High
Occasionally, guests gave feedback to say they thought the rates were high. However, many coupled that opinion with the disclosure that they understood rates can fluctuate depending on the time of year in which a trip occurs. If you have flexibility in your plans, it may be worthwhile to see when the rates are lowest.
negative:
A Musty Smell in Some Rooms
From time to time, guests noticed a musty smell in their accommodations. It usually was not too bothersome, but obvious enough to where it was a downside in some cases.
negative:
A Spider Problem
Guests sometimes found their balconies were home to several spiders. Furthermore, guests said the exterior areas of the hotel had a larger-than-expected number of cobwebs. In the case of the balcony spiders at least, staff handled that issue promptly, much to the relief of guests who reported it.
