Positive Reviews
positive:
Very comfortable rooms
Guests adore the comfort of the rooms. They are spacious enough so that you don't feel cramped and can move about freely. They are also nicely decorated. However, the best bit is clearly the specifically designed Hampton beds. Guests find them extremely cozy and help them drift off into a pleasant slumber.
positive:
Fun bar and restaurant
The bar and restaurant that adjoins the hotel turns many guests overnight stay into a memorable visit. Guests just find the place fun with a great ambiance. There is music, games, quizzes and good food. However, it seems to be the engaging staff that really make the experience so good.
positive:
Friendly staff
Guests find the staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpful. It seems to be sincere too as they have a very personable approach. Just little touches, like addressing guests by their name, go a long way.
Negative Reviews
negative:
NOISY!
Although being located near the highway is very convenient, it can also be disruptive too. Guests complain that half the hotel faces directly the freeway and they suffer from the noise. Even with the windows closed, it can keep you awake at night. The only way of blocking it out seems to be using the even noisier air-conditioning!
negative:
Difficult access
The hotel is right next to the interstate. However, that doesn't necessarily mean it is easy to find! Guests complain about it being poorly indicated, and difficult to locate – especially by night. Even your GPS may have problems getting you there!
negative:
Funny odors
There are complaints about strange or “funky” odors in certain rooms. Sometimes they clear up, sometimes they linger. Sometimes it is a faint odor, other times a strong musty smell.
