Excellent Location
This hotel is just a few minutes from Drogheda and is nestled in a picturesque and quaint location, perfect for getting away from it all. There's a river next to the hotel which provides beautiful views. This is the perfect location for exploring Co. Louth and Co. Meath. Seapoint Beach is just a few minutes down the lane.

Family-Owned Hospitality
The owners of this hotel are warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the same can be said for the hotel staff. They all work hard to create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble, so be sure to seek out recommendations and advise on things to see and do.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No Onsite Restaurant
This hotel no longer serves lunch or dinner, which many guests find bothersome, as it's most convenient to be able to simply dine in when too tired to go out. However, the staff will direct you to the local golf course for a meal, or into Drogheda to try one of their restaurants. Note that the golf course restaurant doesn't stay open very late.
negative:
Thin Walls Lead to Noise
Some guests report that the walls are rather thin in this hotel, and that you can hear people talking in adjacent rooms and hallways. You may want to bring a set of earplugs to help buffer the noise at night.
negative:
Spotty Wi-Fi Signal
Wi-Fi seems to be hit and miss. It works well for some guests and not for others. The connexion is patchy at best.
