Meals are in need of minor tweaks.
The complimentary breakfasts and additional meals available in the evenings are good quality, but some small issues prevent the experience from being perfect. There isn't much variety that is offered and larger portions would also be appreciated to create more filling meals.
negative:
Bathrooms could be improved.
A few issues need to be addressed in the bathrooms at Durn House. Floors are reported as being too slippery, and installing modern shower facilities could help make up for the fact that bathrooms are located across the hall from guestrooms.
negative:
Drinks are limited to the weekends.
This guest house doesn't have a liquor license, so it is limited to serving alcohol only on the weekends. As a result, any guests who want a pint during a weekday stay will have to go out looking for a local watering hole instead of staying in.
