Hotel Bethel Court Guesthouse (Montego Bay, Jamaica)

This guesthouse is located in a quiet area, a bit outside the busy town centre. Yet, it's easy to catch a taxi to get to wherever you need to go in Montego Bay.

The apartments are well maintained, offering guests a clean, quiet place to rest during their stay. Plus, with strong, effective air conditioning, you can be sure that your room will stay cool and comfortable no matter the weather outside.

There are a number of small local shops in the area, as well as a supermarket and a restaurant. All of these are within easy walking distance.

The hotel is about four miles away from the beach. And while this may be close to get to by car, it's definitely not a walking distance. Fortunately, it's usually very easy to catch a cab that will take you to the beach.

The hotel includes both private apartments and inexpensive dorms - the latter are intended for backpackers and have a hostel vibe.  Unfortunately, due to the nature of the dorms, it's more difficult to keep them classy consistently. And cost-cutting measures mean if you choose the dorms, you're in for a barebones experience.

Though the apartments have most of what you'll need if you want to prepare your own meals during your stay, there may not be quite enough utensils if you want to cook a large or elaborate meal.
