Positive Reviews
positive:
Convenient location for sports fans.
With Oriole Park (home to the Baltimore Orioles baseball team) less than ten miles away and the M&T Bank Stadium (home to the Baltimore Ravens football team) little more than a 15-minute drive; this hotel makes a great base for anyone wanting to take in a game .
positive:
Guest rooms are pretty spacious.
Because the building itself is so large, the accommodations within it are a lot more generously sized than you'd probably expect them to be. The inclusion of a separate seating area in each room is testament to the impressive amount of floor space each room offers.
positive:
Really good value.
If there's another hotel in this bracket offering better value rates in this part of town then we've yet to hear about it. Truly, the rates here are some of the most competitive you're likely to find in any major city location.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Smell of smoke lingers throughout.
A common complaint made by guests - even those staying in non-smoking rooms - is that the smell of smoke is an almost permanent feature within some areas of this hotel. Worth bearing in mind if you suffer with asthma.
negative:
Nowhere to eat nearby.
It's fair to say that restaurants are pretty thin on the ground in this part of town. That being said, there are plenty of local takeout options to call on that will deliver in pretty good time.
negative:
Neighborhood feels a little sketchy.
A number of guests have remarked about the less-than-welcoming vibe of the area around the hotel. The protective glass which shields the front desk staff from those in the foyer area does little to mitigate any anxieties guests may develop during their stay here..
