Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location for all purposes
This hotel makes an ideal base for anyone coming to town on college visits as it’s less than five minutes drive from Northern Arizona University. Of course, being within a couple minutes’ drive of two Interstates also makes it a great spot from which to explore the area’s famed national parks (including Grand Canyon).
positive:
Breakfast is a treat
It has to be said that this hotel’s free continental breakfast option is really pretty good. As well as being varied (the inclusion of scrambled eggs and sausages is most welcome), the morning meals offered here are very generous so you’re unlikely to leave with an empty stomach. The views from the dining area are very nice too.
positive:
Nice and quiet at night
One of the best aspects of this property is that its accommodation areas are separated by good thick walls. This means that, unlike so many other budget hotels, you won’t be kept awake by the sound of your neighbors talking or watching TV late at night.

Not an easy place to find...
This hotel, which sits on a hill above a gas station, can only be accessed one way - through the gas station. If you turn at the street immediately to the north (which looks like an entrance) then you'll miss the hotel and have a tough time getting bak. Surely this should be easier..?
negative:
There's no elevator
Being an older hotel means this property is not blessed with any elevators whatsoever. If you’re traveling with someone who has issues with their mobility then this will no doubt be something of a concern.
negative:
Hotel looks and feels a little dated
Numerous guests have drawn attention to the stained carpets, musky hallways and dated decor which afflict this property. Definite room for improvement here…
