About Los Gallitos Eco Lodge

Los Gallitos is a small family business in Alajuela with typical Costa Rican rustic style wooden cabañas surrounded by beautiful gardens. We also have two rooms for budget travelers, not a luxury destination. We are focused on conservation and being an eco friendly business, our furnishing is all reused and very antique. We offer an outdoor pool (we empty it on Mondays for cleaning), (the weather is constantly changing). The farm works together with the restaurant providing it with meat, milk, cheese and veggies. Very calm, great for birdwatching, adventure hiking, very close to the airport (40km); also the Poas volcano is just 35 minutes away. Great views from the rooms to the mountains and gardens. There are many activities you can enjoy in the 20 mile range. Be ready for the rain at any moment. We also offer outdoor sports like rafting, kayak and canoe tours. We just opened our whitewater tours operations this year and we have one of the very few #4 & #5 white water rapids in Costa Rica, called ¨Pailas by Los Gallitos¨, so if you are interested in getting the Pura Vida feeling book with us!
