Amazing sunset
For those who like to relax with an after dinner drink after a long day of local sightseeing, according to guests, the best place to do that is on the top deck, watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean. Most visitors make sure they are back in time not to miss that sight.

Watch out for mosquitos
Many travellers have suggested that you bring your insect repellent with when you visit The Barefoot Eco. Despite the great efforts by hotel management, the mosquitos are difficult to get rid of. Regardless, if you use a good repellent it will do the trick.
negative:
Surroundings not so clean
Although the hotel is well-appointed and spotlessly clean, many guests have noticed that plastic bottles and other rubble is either blown across, or drifts across from the ocean and ends up along the beach in front of the hotel. Nonetheless staff do clean up whatever lands up around the hotel.
