    Quiet in spite of its convenient location

    Carmel Resort Inn is set in a nice wooded area which, despite being close to the main road and not far at all from downtown, is peaceful and quiet.

    The staff at this inn are friendly and approachable and will do their best to make sure you are having as nice a stay as is possible. If you have a query or an issue, they will try to sort it out for you in a swift and efficient fashion.

    Accommodation here is pretty roomy and the beds are nicely comfortable. The cabins mean that you have your own space and won't have to put up with noise from neighboring guests.

    While some of Carmel Resort Inn has been renovated, other areas are in serious need of improving. The furniture is very old and everything feels so tired. What's more, the lack of air-conditioning makes the rooms unbearably stuffy on hot days, even if you have the windows open.

    Unless you are logging on from the inn's office, you'll probably find the Wi-Fi signal to be pretty weak. If you can log on at all from the comfort of your room, you'll find the connectivity to be slow and constantly interrupted.
