About Gnishik Eco Lodge

Hidden in pristine nature among towering mountains, Gnishik Visitor Center is set in Vayots Dzor Province of Armenia, in a small village with a population of around 200 people. Ornate road running through the gorges, extending far into the virgin mountains is an unimaginably picturesque path that leads to the Visitor Center. Constructed in 2019 by The Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC), with the support of VivaCell-MTS, World Land Trust and FPWC Board Member Haig Balian the Visitor Center is a symbiosis of comfortable living and untouched, virgin nature. Here our visitors can feel fully disconnected from the distractions of city life and experience the staggering, pure beauty of nature. At the Gnishik Visitor Center, we can offer 5 rooms which can host up to 10 guests. The house is equipped with all the amenities for a comfortable stay: lounge area, fully equipped modern kitchen, living room with a sweeping panoramic view of the Gnishik canyon and of course comfortable sleeping rooms with balconies, with most stunning views of the mountains. There are 3 Double Rooms with private bathrooms, 1 Double Room and 1 Single Room with shared bathrooms. Moreover, the house has its library and а wine cellar, to provide a unique leisure experience. Set amidst the Gnishik canyon, which leads up to the Noravank monastery, it is a perfect spot for exceptional hikes, mountain biking, jeeping, horseback riding, wildlife observation, and birdwatching tours, which are all accessible services provided by our Visitor Center. To ensure your satisfaction, our experienced guides and rangers are always there to provide professional and outstanding services.
