Built in 2014, the hotel is new and well maintained. Guests commented that the hotel was clean and modern, and that it offered a much better deal than hotels closer to the central Hong Kong districts.

Guests enjoyed the amenities including the pool table, gaming room, a children's play area and the swimming pool. This made the hotel kid-friendly and created a more social environment for guests to mingle.

Guests were pleasantly surprised to find that their hotel rooms were bigger than what you'd normally see in Hong Kong. They remarked that the pentahotel offered a better deal in terms of space and design.

The hotel is situated in an industrial neighbourhood, surrounded by factories. It's also not the most central area nor the most scenic area in Hong Kong. Much of the neighborhood was under construction, so guests said there wasn't much to see and do in the immediate vicinity.

When a crowd gathered at the restaurant, the service fell behind, guests said. Many commented on the slow service at the hotel restaurant that some people just left hungry after being ignored. They also said that the lack of certain breakfast condiments such as jam was disappointing.

Guests said having to walk to the Diamond Hill MTR during the hot summer days was difficult and hot. They said the hotel should offer more frequent shuttles to get guests connected to public transit.
