The Whitehall Hotel, Best Western Premier Collection (Chicago, USA)

Guests are most impressed by the courteous and friendly staff at this hotel. They go above and beyond what's expected, putting all of their focus on customer service. They seem genuinely kind and caring.

Rooms are well laid out, bright and modern with a great bathroom, luxury toiletries, and even include small touches like a sewing kit. Soft towels, flat-screen TVs, and plenty of storage space give off the feeling of comfort.

This hotel is only one block from Michigan Avenue and the Magnificent Mile. Other Chicago attractions are close by as well, and you'll be near a red line train that makes going to and from O'Hare Airport convenient. Plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops are nearby. John Hancock Tower is just one block away, and Water Tower Place is just two blocks away.

Rooms do not come with a coffee or tea maker and no refridgerator either. This makes storing leftovers or keeping drinks cold difficult. Also, there are no ice machines on the floors. You have to request ice from the front desk.

Parking is not included in the rate and is rather expensive, although it's comparable to the rest of Chicago. If you need your car from valet, you'll need to request it well in advance so your car is ready to go when you are.

This hotel can be a bit noisy, as there is an air conditioner outside the hotel that runs constantly. Walls are thin as well so you're likely to hear your neighbors' conversations. Bring earplugs.
