The Modernist Athens settled into the former Canadian Embassy on a quiet street that overlooks a leafy residential square in Kolonaki. The handsome corner building with its many balconies in signature Modernist style, was transformed combining casual, contemporary luxury with mid-century detailing and minimalist Danish design. It’s the perfect port of call for constant travellers who know how to live in the moment and are at home wherever they set down their bag. Flying light and often solo, expecting seamless comforts, a bit of local buzz, and highly professional yet completely unpretentious service, they’ll find nothing less than everything they need at the Modernist Athens. All our rooms are bright, with parquet floors, twin or king-size bed, very fast WiFi, Cable-Satellite TV, local, organic toiletries, minibar, Marshall speakers etc. Some of them have a furnished balcony overlooking Athens. Rooftop is located on the 7th floor, with incredible views from Lycabettus to Acropolis, where you can relax or have a drink at any time of the day. In addition, our hotel has a meeting room that accommodates groups of up to 12 people and has all the necessary equipment.
