Positive Reviews
positive:
Old world charm with modern facilities.
This hotel offers that old quaint traditional pub style but with the modern features you expect from a hotel. There is free Wi-Fi and, of course, great rooms but the décor of the pub and restaurant is vintage in style.
positive:
Super staff are there to help.
The staff at this lodge are always on hand to assist you in any way that they can and if you have a problem they will do their best to find a solution. They are also quite friendly and have some good tips on visiting the surrounding area.
positive:
Spacious rooms are a bonus.
Many budget hotels offer small rooms that you could barely fit your suitcase in, but at this hotel you have plenty of space for the whole family. It’s a great bonus to have such space at such an affordable price.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Poor Wi-Fi won’t connect.
The internet is the only major drawback of this hotel which is a shame. Many expect to be able to use a good Wi-Fi service before going to sleep, but unfortunately you don’t really get the chance to do so at this hotel.
negative:
A few breakfast issues.
Guests have noted that items will run out during the free breakfast service and that the selection isn’t great. But if you pay a small fee then you can order your own cooked breakfast that is said to be great value.
negative:
Beds could be comfier.
The beds aren’t great at this hotel, but they are not so bad that you can’t sleep. Some guest have said that they would rather a comfier place to sleep, but this doesn’t really affect their overall enjoyment of their stay.
