Positive Reviews
positive:
Location near many attractions and conveniences.
As mentioned, the beach and the strip with all its restaurants and bars are within walking distance of the hotel. There are also many tour operators in the area who organize different trips such as fishing and boat tours, city tours and trips to the nearby nature reserves.
positive:
Friendly staff and a warm environment.
The staff are particularly cheerful and make the utmost effort to ensure that you enjoy your stay. This attitude rounds off the hotel to make it a more home-like experience for visitors.
positive:
Pleasant areas to sit and relax.
The swimming pool area with its deckchairs, umbrellas and bar with snacks and drinks as well as the well cared for gardens are both lovely places to take a few moments to sit back, perhaps after a long hot day on a tour or at the beach.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A number of services are charged extra.
Guests will need to pay additional fees for the use of the in-room air conditioning, safety deposit box and even a cooked breakfast in place of the complimentary fresh fruit and cereals/bread on offer among other facilities at the hotel.
negative:
In close proximity to quite a busy main road.
The hotel is situated just off the Bertil-Harding highway which, while connecting you easily to the nearest beach and several other amenities, is also close to many bars and pubs that open until late at night, particularly over the weekends. Those in rooms facing the road may experience disturbances of people travelling to and from these night spots – depending on the day of the week- so to avoid this try and request a room at a different side of the hotel.
negative:
Overall simple but good value for money.
The hotel is nothing extravagant, the rooms are quite basic but kept immaculately clean as are the other areas of the grounds. Should you prefer to look for alternatives in places to relax or eat there is plenty of choice nearby as well at the beach and the strip.
