Positive Reviews
positive:
A pool with a view.
During the right times of year, not only can you enjoy a relaxing dip in the rooftop pool, but you can also wander to the terrace, grab a drink and gaze out upon the rolling waves. Clean and well-attended, spending a day at the pool is a great way to both relax and relish in your location.
positive:
Fall asleep to the ocean.
Rooms at the SANA Sesimbra offer affordable luxury, low-key décor and a host of amenities. Most importantly, the beds, linens and pillows are soft and inviting. And, as many quarters come with an ocean view, you can lie back and relax to sound of rolling waves after a long day of sightseeing.
positive:
Attractive breakfast buffet.
Each morning you can pick your head off the pillow and head downstairs for the hotel’s impressive breakfast buffet. Featuring hot and cold breakfast options, including eggs, yoghurt, fruit, cold cuts and sweets, you’ll have a large selection of options to fuel your holiday adventures.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Choose your room wisely.
Although many rooms at the SANA Sesimbra give their guests a fantastic vantage point to soak in the coast and the shore, some rooms offer only a lackluster view of the courtyard or are partially blocked. Make sure you request a room with an ocean-scape.
negative:
Miniature gym.
While certainly not a make or break holiday issue, some guests noted that the hotel’s fitness area was miniscule and only offered a few workout machines. If you want to break a good sweat, you may be forced to go swim in one of the two pools, walk on the beach or hike around town.
negative:
Weekend racket can be bothersome.
Light sleepers take note. While the hotel itself is generally a quiet place, the street outside the hotel is home to several bars and discos. Guests staying on the lower floors have complained about noisy revelers on Friday and Saturday nights. For this and many other reasons, you may wish to request an upper level ocean-side room.
