Charming, Helpful Hostess.
Upon arrival at Roseneathm guests are greeted by a smiling, friendly and very helpful hostess who promptly goes through the check-in before helping guests to their rooms. Lots of questions are asked to ensure guests will be accommodated. Staff are also very knowledgeable about the area and are happy to provide suggestions on things to do. Also reported was staff who interact with guests and issues that are resolved right away.

Guests reported that the breakfast is fabulous with so many different items to choose from including cereals, hot items and fruit. Everything is fresh, well-prepared, delicious and served in a comfortable environment by friendly and accommodating staff.

The guest rooms are spotlessly clean and guests reported that the views from the rooms are very nice. Also reported was tasteful decor that features works of art done by the hostess herself, comfortable beds, excellent showers with lots of hot water and water pressure and excellent soundproofing.

Small Rooms in Need of Care.
Guests reported that the guest rooms at Roseneath are very small and cramped. Other issues reported include Wi-Fi that doesn't work, uncomfortable beds, stained carpet and furnishings, low lighting, dirty curtains, dated decor, a lack of hot water in the showers and a strange smell.

Overworked and Overwhelmed Staff.
Guests reported that some staff members seem overworked and become overwhelmed at even the simplest of tasks. Also reported was staff members who aren't knowledgeable about the area and can't provide recommendations, staff who are rushed and provide poor service and staff who don't apologize when issues arise.

Guests reported that breakfast is limited both in terms of what is available to eat and the time frame available to eat. The selection is small, the food is bland and poorly-prepared with lots of pre-packaged items and guests only have a one-hour timeframe in which to enjoy their breakfast.
