Positive Reviews
positive:
Location and facilities immersed in local culture
The hotel is right at the end of a lively and vibrant shopping street, adjacent to several restaurants and is around the corner from Santa Fe Plaza where you'll find several local Native American artisans and vendors as well as marvel at the traditional architecture which is extended to the hotel building itself.
positive:
Home to a top restaurant in the city
Old House Restaurant is well known and appreciated by locals and visitors alike for its elegant ambience and farm-fresh seasonal dining; all a few steps away from your room.
positive:
Generous rooms and suites
There is a variety of accommodation styles at the hotel to suit all sizes and types of bookings. Some rooms come with a balcony or a fireplace and the suites have separate living areas with one or two bedrooms and even two bathrooms in some cases. Be sure to specify your preferences while reserving a room e.g. Bathtub or not, fireplace, etc.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Only valet parking available
There is ample parking on the premises but only using the valet service, which is an extra daily cost. If this is an issue for you and you don't plan on moving around too much or too far, it is easy to walk around the nearby downtown area so it may not be necessary to bring a car. Otherwise, there is a slightly cheaper parking garage across the street.
negative:
Limited swimming pool space
Although the pool area on the fifth floor is cosy and has panoramic views over downtown Santa Fe, space can be limited so be sure to get there early to grab a sun-lounger or a seat or just some room to swim around freely.
negative:
Overall worth it
The hotel can get costly due to breakfast not being included and some high bar prices for example, however in general it is worth the cost given the location and compared to other accommodation options nearby.
