WELCOME TO THE CITY GARDEN - Our hotel is located in Basel's largest private recreation park, and yet still lies within the heart of the city. The heritage-listed ODELYA hotel building was erected in 1860 and expanded with the construction of the new AYLEDO building. Enjoy both the tranquillity of our organic wild garden and the proximity to the diversity of city life in Basel.   FAMILIES INDIVIDUAL GUESTS BUSINESS TRAVELLERS - WE WELCOME FAMILIES - We particularly enjoy having families to stay with us. If you are visiting us with babies or small children, we ask that you please let us know so that we can provide you with a room with a cot, changing mat and bottle warmer.   WE ARE ALSO A SEMINAR HOTEL -We offer our guests a comprehensive range of over 20 seminar rooms of different sizes in our main ODELYA building and the new AYLEDO building, all with modern infrastructure. You also have the option of hosting your workshop or seminar in our wild garden.   TRADITION AND MODERNITY COMBINED WITH NATURE - LOCAL AND CLOSE TO NATURE The original building work in 1860 was carried out exclusively by local craftsmen. When sourcing our ingredients, we predominantly favour regional producers, while growing our own fruits and berries in our organic garden to seasonally enrich our menus. We will be happy to show you rare plants that flourish in our garden and offer a habitat for rhinoceros beetles, dragonflies and numerous bird species in the middle of the city.   WILD GARDEN IN THE HEART OF THE CITY -Our park is an oasis of tranquillity in the middle of the city. Our wild garden is home to over 50 species of tree and produces various fruits, berries and herbs, which we process in our kitchen workshop. Numerous park benches offer relaxation amidst peaceful, natural surroundings.
