Guests can chose from many spacious en-suite room types and suites amongst the 240 available. These include deluxe rooms, triple rooms, family,executive and presidential suites. All are all air-conditioned with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen satellite TV. The Nozol Royal Inn has a 24-hour reception, private parking, business centre and meeting room for up to 30 people. The Al Rawda and Al Rabwa restaurants offer an eclectic mix of middle-eastern, oriental and international cuisine. Guests can also have a snack or a refreshment in the Tea Garden. As well as being next door to Al-Harem, other important sites such as the Masjid al-Qiblatair and the Quba Mosque are nearby. The Rashed Mall is also within walking distance.

    Perfect location near Haram

    Just metres from Al-Masjid al-Nabawi, guests appreciate more than anything the Royal Inn's location. The mens' and ladies' entrances are close by and can be reached in just a few minutes walk.

    Large comfortable rooms

    You should have plenty of space to move around the rooms, which start at 35m2 for a double. A lot of guests find this a nice size, especially in comparison to other hotels in Medina.

    Cleanliness leaves much to be desired

    The Royal Inn's quite discerning guests are pretty critical of its standard of cleanliness. Many feel the hotel is untidy and the rooms are not cleaned regularly enough. The bathrooms and carpets seem particularly badly maintained - as many would say the hotel is in general. There is even the perception that there is not enough cleaning staff to cope with such a large hotel, particularly in busy periods.

    Need a lift?

    A lot of guests feel let down as they have to wait a long time for a lift to take them up to their room. The four available seems far from being enough, with so many floors to access. When eventually you can get a lift, it is overcrowded and not very pleasant - especially if you've got a room on the tenth floor!

    Poor customer care

    Many guests complain of slow and unresponsive service from reception. It is difficult to communicate with the staff and they seem to have a nonchalant attitude. Simple requests also seem to take a long time. Is this also down to being under-staffed or could training be at fault?
