Beautiful and convenient location
Montreal Beach Resort is located on the ocean front with the beach being an easy minutes's walk away. Other attractions, including the Cape May Convention Hall, Easy Lynne Theater Company, Cape May City Hall, Colonial House and shopping at the Washington Street Mall can all within a 10-minute walk. For those who wish to venture further out, Turdo Vineyards and Winery, Cape May Point State Park and the Cape May Point Lighthouse can be reached within a 15-minute drive.

Room with a view
Some rooms were described as spacious while others found their rooms to be compact though well presented with the furniture arranged in a convenient and comfortable design. The rooms were kept clean and tidy by daily housekeeping and the beds were comfortable. Many rooms feature a private balcony and guests in these rooms described the ocean views as spectacular and the sound of the waves relaxing.

Noisy environment
Some guests reported that the walls were not well sound proofed and that the sound of neighboring guests were clearly audible and at time disturbing when trying to sleep. The second floor also features a bar with live music which can also be loud and disturbing in the evening.

Some guests who booked a room with a view were disappointed to find that their rooms did not feature the ocean views promised, particularly those on the first floor.
