Langstone Cliff Hotel (Dawlish, United Kingdom)

ituated on the Devonshire coastline, Langstone Cliff is surrounded by 19 acres of carefully landscaped gardens and has direct access to Dawlish Beach at the foot of its gardens.

This hotel is quite old, but don't let its exterior appearance fool you. Inside this hotel everything has been kept in excellent order and all necessary renovations have been made. This traditional English hotel is by no means shabby.

If you are an active person who enjoys exercise and sports this hotel has you covered. The gardens are big enough to jog around, there are tennis courts to use, an indoor and outdoor pool and a gym. For evening entertainment there is also a snooker room.

This hotel has two pools, an outdoor and indoor pool, but both can become very crowded. During the summer the outdoor pool can get very busy, and when it is too cold to use the outdoor pool the indoor pool is crammed with swimmers.

During the summer some of the rooms here can get stiflingly hot, and you may not find an air conditioning unit or even a fan to help cool you down. In some rooms all you can do is open up the windows for some fresh air.

While the Langstone Cliff does provide many facilities for you to use and puts the beach on your doorstep, for this you do have to pay a pretty penny. Unless you are really going to take advantage of everything the hotel has to offer, you could probably spend your money better elsewhere.
