Guests noted that the staff was polite and helpful from check-in and throughout their entire stay.

The rooms are quite spacious and include useful amenities, which include free high-speed internet, irons, microwaves, fans, hair dryers, covered parking and continental breakfast. Guests particularly liked the in-room Jacuzzis, which they found to be a relaxing treat after a long day.

The hotel is conveniently located to many restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory, Chili's and El Torito as well as shopping malls, several beaches and golf courses. Guests also liked the fact that the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano could easily be visited.

Due to the trains driving by and the proximity to the freeway, some guests noted that the rooms aren't very quiet.

Guests found that the old-fashioned TV was in desperate need of replacement, the heating and cooling system appeared so old that it might be a safety concern, and the shower displayed signs of mold.

Several guests reported that housekeeping was neither doing an efficient job cleaning the rooms before new guests arrive nor throughout their stay. There were items left in the microwave, closet and under the sheets, and some guests even had issues with bugs within their beds. They also stated that housekeeping seemed to be doing a very superficial job, as the rooms were in dire need of a thorough top-to-bottom cleaning, which was evident by the bad smell as well as stains on the floor.
