Positive Reviews
positive:
Very nice indoor pool and hot tub
While, surprisingly, not all that many guests mentioned the pool, those who did clearly enjoyed having it available to them. It seemed to be sufficiently heated, and guests enjoyed being able to take a quick dip after what was often a long and stressful day.
positive:
Friendly and accommodating staff
Again and again guests would highlight just how fantastic the staff were. They were said to offer a warm and genuine welcome, and dealt with their issues and queries in a friendly and professional manner.
positive:
Decent location
Though there was not a great deal of interest within immediate walking distance, guests mentioned that there were a number of decent restaurants, as well as a large regional mall, just a very short drive away.
Negative Reviews
negative:
In need of some refurbishment
A vocal minority felt quite strongly that both the rooms and the public areas of the hotel could do with an update. It was not only a case of appearances, but also that some amenities in the rooms were said to be broken and usable. In any event they felt the hotel would need to be updated soon to remain relevant.
negative:
Breakfast could be better
While no guest felt it was terrible, the breakfast really wasn't a hit either. Many stated that there wasn't enough variety offered, and that items like bacon or sausage would make for a great addition to the current offerings.
negative:
Problems with mildew and mold
A surprisingly large number of guests mentioned that either the walls of their shower, or the shower curtain, had signs of mold on it. They found it disconcerting, and worried that there was a general problem with dampness and mold that may affect their health.
