The Kancamagus Lodge is situated in the White Mountains at the entrance of the Kancamagus Scenic Highway. The rooms are clean and comfortable and some have in-room steam baths and private balconies. The restaurant here is fantastic offering dinner nightly and breakfast seasonally; recommended as the best place to eat in the area by locals. Property features a full size indoor swimming pool, game room, guest coin operated laundry, basketball court and two fire-pit areas. The service here is excellent and much of the work is done by the owners themselves, so you're assured of a friendly welcome. The owners live on property and they really take care of their guests here. There are plenty of activities to do nearby including fishing, hiking, swimming, mountain biking, kayaking and exploring. Winter months enjoy close proximity to four ski areas, Loon Mountain, Cannon Mountain, Waterville Valley and Bretton Woods. The lodge is located on the edge of national forest for snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
