Guests also said that there is plenty of affordable and delicious dining in the area around the hotel and they also loved being close to rue Neuve, a prime shopping destination. Many key sights are also close, and can be reached in 20 minutes on foot.
Guests raved about their accommodations. Though the rooms themselves aren't extremely spacious, the bathrooms are, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Overall, housekeeping does a great job and the rooms appear tidy and well-maintained. In addition, the complimentary Wi-Fi performed very well and on rainy days, there are plenty of TV channels to watch.
The customer service at Villa Royale is top notch. Guests said that the staff was always friendly, professional and hospitable. Any problems that arose were sorted out quickly.
If you're concerned about noise, you may want to skip the first floor. Guests say those rooms can be susceptible to traffic and street noise, as the hotel is located on the busy Rue Royale. Furthermore, even though the rooms have double glazed windows, a couple guests had trouble shutting them to block out the noise.
