positive:
Lovely staff
This place is far from just a pub with rooms and it's the staff that make it so. They are both professional and friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's a great feeling to have such a lovely warm welcome in what is essentially budget accommodation.
positive:
Great value for money
These rooms are very well maintained and are a bargain. For such a central location just minutes from the train station, you'd do well to find anything cheaper or even at the same rate. There's even a small car park at the back, but it fills up quick to book ahead.
positive:
Surprisingly good food
The food in the pub is quite good and very well prepared. There are plenty of options, and there's even a great children's menu. The breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it is reasonably priced and very tasty.
