About Hotel Marfil
Hotel Marfil

coastline.
Bright, spacious rooms include a balcony, safety deposit box, air conditioning and TV, and each is en-suite.
Free Wi-Fi is available, the front desk is open 24-hours a day and there is a luggage storage facility, if required. Hotel Marfil also has an arrangement with a neighbouring hotel for its guests to utilise their leisure facilities.
A buffet-style breakfast is served until late and there are several excellent options for evening meals nearby; Can Gust, Tapas Restaurant and Lounge Bar and Sol y Sombra, to name a few.
The harbour beach is 300-metres away and there are numerous cafes, pubs and clubs within walking distance; including the famous Cafe del Mar.
Positive Reviews
positive:
A haven of peace in busy San Antoni.
Set just a five-minute walk away from the beach, the bustling West End and the Old Town, Marfil is ideally situated for those looking to explore the local pubs and clubs, or simply the beautiful coastline. Yet, despite the close vicinity to the action, the hotel is set in a quiet, peaceful area.
positive:
Better than you might expect for the price.
The hotel is a budget option, however, most guests are surprised by what you get for your money. The entrance, itself, is stunning; with marbled floors and a fountain, while rooms are clean, comfortable, recently refurbished and include a balcony and air conditioning.
positive:
Excellent breakfast.
For many, breakfast is one of the best things about the hotel. Considering many guests will have indulged in some of the islands best nightlife the night before, breakfast is, rather considerately, served until late, and pancakes are offered, in addition to the usual continental fare.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Shortage of facilities.
Guests have few bad things to say about Marfil, however, some suggest that a swimming pool would be a welcome addition. You can use the facilities at a neighbouring hotel, but, for some, it isn't terribly convenient.
negative:
Inconsistent Wi-Fi.
Some guests find the Wi-Fi to be excellent, while others have trouble connecting at all. The general consensus seems to be that the strength of the Wi-Fi varies throughout the hotel so, for those for whom internet access is an essential, requesting a room with good connectivity may be advised.
negative:
Bathroom quirks.
The showers at the hotel can, at times, appear to have minds of their own; alternating abruptly from hot to cold with very little warning. For most guests, however, this is only a minor point and doesn't attract from the overall stay.
