Hotel Hedonism II Resort (Negril, Jamaica)

If all the nude guests sat down at the same time, it would sound like a well deserve round of applause (!) for this terrific + dedicated resort staff. They're sensational.

This is a place where you forget any inhibitions. The two beaches are 'prude' or 'nude' - but prude is somewhat nude as well.

Top marks for the food and the desserts are super delicious. There are various ways to exercise after a meal; one being to saunter along the Seven Mile Beach, past some of the more traditional hotels. They don't seem to be having nearly as much fun as that at Hedonism. The odds are that, after a while, you'll turn round and head back to Hedo.

The breakfast buffet is very good and so is the Friday Gala Dinner. Apart from that, menus are nothing to write home about and certainly don't match the imaginative appeal of the rest of the resort.

You can't get away from it; even the 'prude' beach attracts the nudists. It's not everyone's cup of tea + when you've seen one, you've seen them all! Plus, as the day wears on and the drinks flow freely, the nights become pretty wild. If you're looking for respite from all this, it is close to hand, next door, at the more staid Sandals Resort. There seems to be a free flow of guests between the two resorts, so no problems.

Just like any hotel, anywhere, most staff are great but others have a chip on their shoulder; and guess what, you have to pay for WiFi!
