The Hotel Fallersleber Spieker (Low German for "Fallersleber Speicher") and the directly adjoining Wolfsburg Eye Clinic were built on a former farm property by our family and opened in November 1993. Fallersleben was first mentioned in a document in 942 AD and is one of Wolfsburg's oldest districts. Due to its long history and well-preserved old town, Fallersleben is also affectionately referred to as "the good parlor of Wolfsburg". Before Fallersleben was incorporated into the city of Wolfsburg in the course of the territorial reform in 1972, it was an independent town. It is the birthplace of the famous poet August Heinrich Hoffmann, who called himself "von Fallersleben" out of attachment to his town. Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben wrote the lyrics of the German national anthem as well as numerous children's songs ("Alle Vögel sind schon da", "Ein Männlein steht im Walde") The "young metropolis" Wolfsburg was founded only in 1938. Since 2010 our house is managed by Silvia and Manuel Gehrmann in the second generation. Our rooms and public areas were renovated and refurnished in 2019 with a lot of love, energy, heart and money. Business travelers, tourists and privately traveling guests are equally pleased with the quiet yet central location of our house in the core of the historic old town. Due to the excellent traffic connections of Fallersleben with two highway connections and the train station Fallersleben, which is 300 m away on foot, our guests can reach the headquarters of the Volkswagen AG as well as many local supplier companies in a short time. Wolfsburg's sights such as the Autostadt, the Phaeno or the Design Outlet Center can also be reached quickly. The castle park Fallersleben invites you to take a walk.
