The hotel is a popular venue for parties and wedding receptions and guests reported that they were disturbed by loud music and noise from the hallways whish often lasted until late in the evening.

Guests mentioned that the rooms looked like they were in need of modernization as they noticed peeling wallpaper, worn carpets and marks on the furniture. The bathrooms were also said to be rather dated with basic fixtures and fittings.
