About Goldenray

Goldenray, our beautiful Edwardian guesthouse in Castelmaine, has been lovingly restored and offers many charming features - high ceilings with ornate ceiling roses & sparkling crystal chandeliers, decorative fireplaces with mantels, stained glass windows & original polished floorboards. We have four rooms available: The East Wing, The Library, The Sunroom and Le Boudoir. All rooms offer authentic antique furniture, reverse cycle air conditioning, luxury linen, electric blankets, flat screen tvs, Wi-Fi, bar fridges and coffee & tea making facilities. There are two passageways/galleries boasting striking art works and a small kitchenette, which has a microwave oven, toaster, crockery, cutlery and complimentary breakfast provisions. The large central bathroom is shared by all guests. There is a roster available to avoid any hassles with showering. All guests have access to the north facing sunny veranda and there is a large outdoor table & chairs in the front courtyard (smoking is allowed in this area). My wife and I live out the back of the guesthouse in a completely separate and private zone. We have two gorgeous dogs but you probably won't even see them. There is on street parking available.
