The hotel boasts a fantastic location just one block from the beach where you can enjoy fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean or a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk. West Ocean City is just across the bridge to the mainland where there are plenty of shopping malls, bars and restaurants within walking distance or there are regular bus services. Within the immediate vicinity of the hotel there is also lots to do with rides and amusements on the pier. .

Members of staff have great knowledge of the local area and are always more than happy to recommend things to see and things to do during your stay. They will also tell you where you shouldn't go and what's not worth spending money on which is always a big help. .

The breakfast offered is substantial and a good start to the day. You can choose from a continental selection with yogurt, fresh fruit, pastries etc. and a hot cooked offering featuring the usual fare such as bacon, egg and sausage along with a make-your-own waffle section which is very popular. .

The spaces in the parking lot are smaller than usual which means it can get tight, but according to the hotel there is an allocation of one space per each room so this should suffice. .

In order to get to the beach you have to cross a busy road and there is no pedestrian crossing so you have to have to take care and have your wits about you. .

The carpets throughout the hotel are looking old and need replacing with them looking quite bare in places. According to previous guests they are in need of a really good deep clean at the very least.
