Step inside and feel yesteryears charm.  This more than 100 years old National Monument has a history of its own, and interesting information is outlined in an information folder provided in each room.  Rooms are filled with comfortable imbuia furniture matching the lovely ambiance of rooms with copper-styled beds and quality mattresses.  Our dedicated staff assist guests in a professional way. Fynbos modern equipped Office has well trained personnel and they run it as a mini information gem! Only a 5 min walk to the precious Botanical Gardens, with a shaded restaurant; then suddenly unfolds Centre town with quaint shops. Our Mother Church is gently covering Church Street in her own way. Stroll into Dorp Street under Oaktree’s along water furrows and admire the Cape Dutch Architecture. The Eerste River is close by and when you cross the Coetzenburg bridge a panoramic jewel unfolds of Stellenbosch University Sports Grounds. Walk in under 10 minutes to Victoria Street and you can enjoy the characteristic buildings of Stellenbosch University. The 200 wine Estates are waiting for you to discover and don’t forget about all the street Soirees and Slow Markets popping up like popcorn!     40 minutes’ drive from Cape Town Airport to Stellenbosch. Approximately 20 minutes’ drive to the picturesque Franschhoek, Paarl and the beaches of Strand  and Gordons Bay.
