Members of staff work tirelessly to ensure that you have a pleasurable stay and will go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel at home with the front desk staff and the doorman in particular given special praise for being very helpful and assisting guests with luggage, with transport arrangements or giving advice on the local area.

DFW Airport is around ten minutes' drive away with the hotel offering a shuttle service running at regular intervals throughout the day and night. In the opposite direction to the airport Grapevine Mills is a large shopping mall boasting many retail outlets, restaurants, Sea Life aquarium, cinema complex and Legoland Discovery Centre, furthermore downtown Grapevine is only around ten minutes' drive away.

There is a wide selection of food available at breakfast with a lighter option featuring pastries, fresh fruit and cereals amongst other things and a cooked option with cooked to order omelettes, sausage, egg and all the usual traditional breakfast items.

The rooms are quite small and the beds are not very comfortable to sleep on with one previous guest having to resort to sleeping on the couch as the bed was so uncomfortable and others have mentioned the cleanliness of the carpets which left feet dirty after walking on it.

Although the breakfast has received praise for the quality and choice some felt that the area in which it is located is too small with guests constantly bumping into each other and getting on top of each other in the queue.

There have been reports of broken facilities in rooms such as the television not working or air conditioning unit being faulty which was especially problematic during hot weather.
