Positive Reviews
positive:
Staff are very friendly and attentive
Customer service is taken seriously here, so it's easy to get a response from staff regarding enquiries and requests. They're consistent on refreshing items, checking in on guests' satisfaction, and assisting however they can with your itinerary plans and ideas.
positive:
Decent breakfast for free
The breakfast meets expectations, particularly for free provisions. It's ample and tasty, and has the typical selections to satisfy most preferences. It also helps get the day going, by being able to grab something onsite first thing in the morning.
positive:
Comfortable beds and linens
You should sleep well, as the beds, linens, and pillows are reported as being quite cushiony and cosy. It's one of the highlights of staying here, and something pleasant to rely upon, after a long day or evening exploring the town.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pricing is too high for worn out rooms
Decor, furniture, and fixtures definitely need TLC or makeovers, so the pricing is considered to be too much for drab and worn out conditions. Until renovations can be or are made, the rates should be lower to compensate for outdated, old accommodations.
negative:
Wi-Fi is difficult to maintain
Scope out a cafe, park, or some other place where you can steadily maintain Wi-Fi, because it's spotty here. The signal is slow, drops, or never pick up at all, which is frustrating.
negative:
Weak stairs railing is of concern
The stairs railings are weak, and don't give guests sufficient confidence if having to use them while carrying luggage or to maintain balance. Keep this in mind when packing, or if there's a chance you'll have an upper-floor room.
