Positive Reviews
positive:
Owners are very accommodating.
The Coco Beach's friendly proprietors are big fans of the “ask and you shall receive” school of hospitality. It doesn't matter what your request, query or suggestion might be, you can be sure they'll do their utmost to address it for you. Impressive.
positive:
Location is peaceful at night.
Unlike some other places in the centre of Blackpool, the area around the Coco Beach is perfectly quiet and free of revellers during the night.
positive:
Perfect base for footy fans.
If you're a travelling away fan or just someone who likes to go and see a game whenever you're on holiday then this guest house is the ideal place for you. Bloomfield Road – home of Blackpool FC – is literally just around the corner!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some guest rooms are very small.
You know you're in a compact accommodation when the door hits the bed every time you try to get in and out of the room. If space is important to you then make sure you opt for one of the larger rooms when booking.
negative:
Property could use an update.
Although it is not without its share of retro charm in places, it is fair to say the Coco Beach is a rather dated guest house. To say that it would benefit from a modest revamp is a bit of an understatement.
negative:
Beds aren't the comfiest.
Many guests have remarked about the somewhat 'springy' mattresses and less than comfortable pillows. Something to bear in mind if you're very particular about your slumber requirements...
